Influences in the process groups

Process groups are connected with the goals of the project. One process usually initiate another one. During life cycle of the project process groups can occur and overlap at activities at diffrent levels of the projct. Picture below shows clearly interaction within the process groups and how they overlap of one another.

Of course the project can be divided into stages ? in this case process groups influence at one another within the separate phase. It is also possible that they occur in some phases of the project.

As you can see on this picture each process group depend on the previous one and have influence on the other group. The same situation happens if you find stages in the project. In such cases process groups must be repeated (often a few times) until one phase is closure and you can go to the next stage. Influences within the process groups are displayed at picture the picture below

One thing worth mentioning is that you do not need to apply all processes to every project so number of interactions would also be limited in this matter for example: when you define any process very strickly instead allowing it to occur it in the normal way during the life cycle of the project.
